✍️ Mini Diary

Today after class I decided to visit a local farmer’s market I had heard about, and from the moment I arrived I could feel the difference from my usual rushed errands. The whole place had a wonderfully slow-paced atmosphere — vendors leaned over their tables, chatted with every customer, and nobody seemed to be in any hurry at all. There was real southern hospitality in the air: one seller offered me a sample of honey even before I asked. I found some beautiful organic vegetables I had never seen before and spent a long time talking to the grower about how she raised them without any chemicals. Walking back to my car with a small jar of honey in hand, I thought about the pros and cons of always ordering online — it is certainly convenient, but I would have missed every bit of this.
